Please Read:  Why support the
Methow Valley Community School?

The Facts

The Methow Valley Community School is a non-profit organization registered in the
State of Washington as a 501c3 corporation and as an Independent Elementary
School.

Our annual tuition of $$8134 per student is less than half of the national average of $18,400 and is the lowest private elementary school tuition in the state of Washington.  We strive to keep our tuition affordable for local families, and have never turned away any student for financial reasons. Roughly 70% of our students receive financial assistance, and 37.5% of our students qualify for free or reduced lunch (under federal income guidelines).

Each year we must raise approximately 41% of our annual budget (roughly $153,000) to continue to provide scholarships and balance our budget. Our job is made easier through grant fundraising andbudget_graph.png a number of sustaining and annual donors but the remainder must be raised annually.  Your donation supports our scholarship program, as well as our mission to provide high-quality education, small class sizes to the roughly twenty Kindergarten through 6th graders we serve each year.

Please contact us for further information, and consider donating now! All donations are tax deductible to the full extent permitted by law.

A big THANK YOU to our amazing students, staff, parents and valley community for making the Blue Bell Cafe a success.

The first Blue Bell Cafe since 2008 brought back the spirit and excitement of the original event. The Methow Valley Community School kids prepared and served the food, made the art for the auction and entertained with an original song.

Thanks to Terry Hunt for this sweet video about the Blue Bell.

Click here to watch it on Methow TV.
